On September 9, 2025, the Language Institute, led by Asst. Prof. Sakorn Ruanklai, Director of the Language Institute, visited Lijiang Culture and Tourism College in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, People’s Republic of China.
During this visit, the delegation from the Language Institute held meetings with senior executives of Lijiang Culture and Tourism College, including Prof. Yu Yang, Assistant President, Director of the Academic Affairs Department and Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation Center, and Prof. Nie Zhifeng, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. The discussions focused on student and staff exchange programs, as well as academic cooperation between the two universities.
On this occasion, the Director and delegation also met with students majoring in Thai language to foster relations and introduce the teaching and learning activities offered by the Language Institute Chiang Mai University to interested students.
