On 25 April 2025 at the Chiang Mai University Auditorium, Assistant Professor Sakorn Rueanklai, Director of the Language Institute of Chiang Mai University, together with the Institute’s administrators and staff, took part in the traditional Dan Hua ceremony honoring the President of the University Council, former university presidents, and senior faculty members of CMU. This ceremony, held as part of the Songkran festival, is a meaningful way to express gratitude and reverence, while strengthening our shared bond with the beautiful Lanna cultural heritage.
The Language Institute of Chiang Mai University remains dedicated to preserving and fostering these invaluable traditional customs. By nurturing understanding and pride in Lanna arts and culture among our staff and students, we aim to reinforce our role and reputation as a leading center for language and cultural studies in Northern Thailand.
