During May 26-31, 2025, the Language Institute, Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Sakorn Ruanklai, Director of the Language Institute, visited several prestigious universities in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, to strengthen international relations and explore future academic collaborations.
During the visit, the delegation engaged in productive discussions with senior administrators from leading institutions including Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai International Studies University, Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai University, and Shanghai University of International Business and Economics.
Key topics of discussion included opportunities for student and staff exchanges, as well as the development of joint research initiatives across various academic fields. This visit represents a significant step toward expanding international academic cooperation and enhancing the quality of education and global engagement of the Language Institute, Chiang Mai University.
